SAN LEANDRO, CA: The City of San Leandro is pleased to announce that Junior Warriors Basketball is back for its 20th year in San Leandro. This program is open to boys and girls 5-14 years of age. The 2020 season will be held on Saturdays beginning January 11, 2020 and run through March 14, 2020. The program offers a non-competitive environment where beginners and veterans alike can improve their skills through weekly games and instruction.
WHAT: Jr. Warriors Basketball Program
WHEN: Saturdays, January 11 to March 14, 2020
WHERE: San Leandro High School Fred T. Korematsu (FTK) Campus and Washington Manor Middle School
All participants will receive a Jr. Warriors’ jersey, instruction, and league play. This program is co-sponsored by the Golden State Warriors, the NBA, WNBA, and the City of San Leandro. Games will be played at Washington Manor Middle School and the San Leandro High School FTK Campus.
Pre-registration is required for participation. Register with the San Leandro Recreation and Human Services Department online at www.sanleandrorec.org. Walk-in registrations are also available at the San Leandro Senior Community Center located at 13909 East 14th Street, or at Marina Community Center located at 15301 Wicks Boulevard.
