Mayor Pauline Russo Cutter and the San Leandro City Council announced that members of the community are invited to attend the City Council’s annual planning session, which is set to take place on Saturday, January 20th. The event will take place at the San Leandro Senior Community Center, located at 13909 East 14th Street, from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m. The meeting will also include opportunities for public comments and questions.
“The annual planning session is one of the most important meetings of the City Council because it provides us with the opportunity to set key goals for the upcoming year,” noted Mayor Cutter. “I am so proud of the great accomplishments our City has achieved over the past year, further solidifying our reputation as a community where kindness matters. We welcome the public’s input as we continue to shape priorities for the year ahead, helping us ensure that our City’s finite resources are expended in the best way possible.”
In addition to setting priorities for the upcoming year, other agenda topics will include an in-depth overview of City finances, a review of accomplishments over the past year, along with updates on various major projects and policy initiatives.
