The 2013 Summer Reading Program is open to kids of all ages, from babies through teenagers. Families with babies and toddlers can read aloud to their little ones to earn a free board book. Kids in preschool through sixth grade can earn fun prizes for reading, plus a free Mini Murph pizza from Papa Murphy’s and admission coupons to Bay Area museums. Kids who read and report on ten books over the ten week program will also earn an exclusive invitation to the library’s end-of-summer Carnival on Saturday, August 10, featuring games, entertainment, and a petting zoo! For teens going into grades 7-12, we have the teen summer reading program. Teens can earn points for each book they read and use them at the teens-only prize board.
Join the "Reading Is So Delicious" Summer Reading Program at any branch of the San Leandro Public Library (Main, Manor, Mulford-Marina or South) starting on Monday, June 3, 2013.
