SAN LEANDRO, CA: In celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the San Leandro Public Library invites the community to K-Pop and Halo Halo Night on Thursday, May 23, 2019. The Library will stream k-pop music videos, and Oakland’s In the Groove Studios will offer a live performance and dance lessons as part of this event taking place at 6:00 p.m. at the San Leandro Main library.

K-pop refers to a type of music and dancing genre originating in South Korea. The infectious music has been pulsing with massive worldwide appeal.
Halo halo is a colorful and icy Filipino delicacy, will also be available for attendees to experience. Halo Halos are limited to one per patron while supplies last.
